GTA stream alerts: how to set them up
To get GTA stream alerts, pick a GTA-themed alert pack or make your own art in the GTA style, load one animation and sound per event (follow, sub, tip, raid) into your alert tool, then add the alert box to OBS as a browser source and fire a test alert. Any alert tool that takes your own images and sounds will run a GTA look; the art is what makes it GTA.

What makes an alert feel like GTA
GTA-style alerts borrow a handful of things viewers recognise straight away: a big banner that slams onto the screen like a mission title, wanted-level stars that fill up, a phone or text-message pop-up, a heavy condensed headline font and a short synth sting for the sound.
Use art you made or art licensed for streaming. The game's logo, its real sound effects and its music belong to Rockstar Games, so a pack that copies them is a risk on a monetised channel. A pack in the style is fine.
Where to get GTA-themed alert art
Overlay stores sell ready-made GTA-themed packs with alerts, panels and scene screens — OWN3D, Stream Designz and the Elgato Marketplace all list them, and the Streamlabs library has a GTA overlay category. Freelance designers will make a custom set if you want one nobody else has.
Check what you are buying: the alert files should be transparent WebM or GIF animations with a separate sound, sized for a 1920×1080 canvas. Those load into any alert tool. Check the listing says Kick too if you stream there; some GTA packs only name Twitch and YouTube, although the files work anywhere.
If you stream with Meld Studio, its free GTA-style police scanner widget turns your chat into dispatch calls, a nice companion to GTA alerts.
Set GTA alerts up in OBS
The steps are the same in every alert tool:
- Open your alert tool and pick the event: follow, sub, gift, tip or raid
- Upload the GTA animation and its sound for that event, and set how long it stays on screen
- Copy the alert box URL
- In OBS add a Browser source, paste the URL and set it to 1920×1080
- Send a test alert and line it up with the rest of your GTA overlay
Running alerts in StreamNeeds
On the free plan StreamNeeds runs follow, sub, gift, tip and raid alerts for Kick and Twitch, with alert rules for amounts, sub tiers, a specific viewer or a first-time supporter, plus alert history and test events. The alert box sits in the same drag-and-drop OBS overlay as your chat, goals, timer and the rest of your widgets.
Launching soon: Alerts Studio, an animated alert designer that takes your own images, GIFs, videos, sounds and fonts, which is where a full GTA alert set will live. GTA game trackers, a wanted-level meter and an automatic game switch for your scenes are launching soon too.

Can I use real GTA sounds and logos in my alerts?
- They belong to Rockstar Games, so copying them into alerts on a monetised channel is a risk. Use art and sounds in the GTA style that you made or that are licensed for streaming.
Do GTA alerts work on Kick?
