Discord banner sizes
Profile banners sit at the top of your profile and need Nitro. Discord asks for at least 600 × 240, a 5:2 shape; the resizer exports 1200 × 480 so it stays sharp.
Server banners show at the top of your channel list once your server reaches boost level 2, at 16:9. The invite background shows behind your invite link from boost level 1.
Framing it right
Each size is cut from the same picture. Drag the picture inside any preview to choose what stays in, use zoom for a closer crop, or switch to Fit to show the whole picture on a dark background.

What size is a Discord profile banner?
- At least 600 × 240 px, a 5:2 shape. 1200 × 480 px looks sharper.
What size is a Discord server banner?
- 960 × 540 px (16:9). It needs server boost level 2.
What is the Discord invite background size?
- 1920 × 1080 px (16:9). It needs server boost level 1.
Can I use an animated banner?
- Discord takes animated banners with Nitro, but this resizer saves still images.
