Type a Twitch username or paste a channel link to see when the account was made, how old it is in years and months, and whether it's a Partner or Affiliate.

Short answer:Every Twitch account has a public creation date. This checker reads it from Twitch's own records and shows the exact date, the age in years and months and the number of days, for any account that exists.

The date comes from Twitch's own public profile record. We don't store the names you check.

Twitch account age checker

Why check a Twitch account's age

Brand-new accounts are often alts made to enter a giveaway twice, dodge a ban or troll chat. Checking the age helps you decide quickly, and many streamers set a minimum age for giveaways or chat.

It's also handy for anniversaries: see exactly when you, a mod or a friend joined Twitch.

Where the date comes from

The date comes from Twitch's public user record, the same one Twitch uses in its own systems, so it's exact to the day. Renaming an account doesn't change it.

If no account is found, the name may have been changed, the account closed or banned, or there's a typo. We don't keep the names you check.

How to use it

  1. Type a Twitch username, or paste a twitch.tv link.
  2. Press Check.
  3. Read the creation date, the age and the account type.

Common questions

How do I see when a Twitch account was created?

Type the username here and press Check. You'll see the exact date the account was made.

Does changing a Twitch name reset the account age?

No. The creation date stays the same after a rename. Only the name changes.

Why does it say no account found?

The name may be misspelled, renamed, or belong to a closed or banned account. Twitch doesn't show those.

Can I check a banned account?

Usually not. Twitch hides suspended accounts from its public records while they're banned.

Is this checker free?
