Twitch panel resizer
Drop in a panel picture and get it at the width Twitch shows, 320 px, with its shape kept and the file kept under the upload limit.
Short answer:Twitch shows About panels 320 px wide and any height, and keeps the picture's shape. Upload a 320 px wide image under 2.9 MB; a 640 px copy stays sharper on high-resolution screens.
Make the panels from scratch
StreamNeeds' panel maker designs a matching set in your colours, and its overlays match them on stream.

Twitch panel size
Panels sit under your stream in the About section, 320 px wide. Twitch keeps the picture's shape, so a taller picture makes a taller panel. Short header panels around 320 × 100 to 320 × 160 are the most common.
The resizer keeps your picture's shape, crops nothing by default, and saves it as a PNG or JPG under Twitch's limit.
Why a sharp copy
Phones and high-resolution screens draw the 320 px panel with more pixels. A 640 px wide copy looks crisper there and Twitch scales it down for everyone else. Upload whichever looks better to you.
How to use it
- Drop in your panel picture, or paste it.
- Tick the 320 px size, the sharp 640 px size, or both.
- Download and upload it in your channel's About panels.

Common questions
What size are Twitch panels?
- 320 px wide. The height can be anything; headers are usually 100 to 160 px tall.
What is the Twitch panel file size limit?
- 2.9 MB. The resizer keeps every file under it.
Can I upload a wider panel?
- Yes, but Twitch shrinks it to 320 px, which can blur small text. Resizing first keeps you in control.
Do animated GIF panels work?
- Twitch takes GIF panels, but this resizer saves still images. Keep animated panels at 320 px wide in a GIF editor.
Is my picture uploaded anywhere?
- No. It's resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
