  4. Upload the files in your Twitch Creator Dashboard, your Kick channel settings or your Discord server settings.

Common questions

What size should a Twitch emote be?

Twitch shows emotes at 28×28, 56×56 and 112×112 pixels, and each file has to be a square PNG (or GIF for animated emotes) under 1 MB. Start from art that is at least 112 px, ideally bigger, and this tool makes all three sizes at once.

What size should a Kick emote be?

Kick takes one square image per emote, up to 500×500 pixels and 1 MB, as a PNG or an animated GIF. We export 256×256, which stays sharp in chat and keeps animated emotes well under the limit. If an animated emote is still too big, the tool steps it down until it fits.

Does it work with animated GIF emotes?

Yes. Drop in a GIF and every frame is resized with its timing kept, so you get animated files for Twitch, Kick and Discord. Big GIFs with lots of frames can go over a platform's size limit; the file sizes are shown so you can see that before you upload.

Are my emotes uploaded anywhere?

No. The resizing happens inside your browser, so your art never leaves your device. That is also why there is no sign-up and no watermark.

Why does my emote look blurry at 28 px?

Detail that works at 500 px disappears at 28 px. Keep the art bold with thick outlines, and turn on Trim empty edges so the character fills the square instead of floating in see-through space.
