Twitch bot

A Twitch chat bot that shares one brain with your overlay

Connect your Twitch channel and the bot answers commands, posts timed messages and gives viewers points for chatting, subbing, cheering bits and following. The same account runs your alerts and OBS overlays, so nothing has to be set up twice.

Commands and timed messages

Write your own commands with your own replies, and set timed messages to post on a rotation while you are live. Built-in commands cover the basics viewers ask for.

  • Custom commands with your own replies
  • Timed messages on a schedule while you are live
  • !points, !daily, !top and !rank for viewer points
  • !so to shout out another streamer
  • !clip to mark a moment for your clip library

Points for the things Twitch viewers do

Viewers earn points for chatting, for subs (new, resubs and gifted), for bits and for following. Points sit on one viewer profile, so a viewer who also watches you on Kick or chats in your Discord keeps a single balance.

  • Chat message points
  • Sub, resub and gifted sub points
  • Bits points per 100 bits
  • Follow points
  • Bits and gifted subs leaderboard

Alerts and overlays from the same account

Twitch follows, subs, bits and raids play alerts on stream, and Twitch chat shows in the same overlay chat widget as Kick, YouTube and Discord. You add one browser source to OBS for each.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Twitch bot?

StreamNeeds has a free plan. Which Twitch features each plan includes is shown on the pricing page.

Can viewers keep one points balance across Twitch and Kick?

Yes. Points sit on one viewer profile. A viewer links their accounts with a one-time merge code and their balances join up.

Does it replace Nightbot or StreamElements on Twitch?

For commands, timed messages, points and alerts, yes. You can also run it beside another bot while you move over.

Does the Twitch bot run giveaways?

Not on Twitch. Giveaways and raffles run on Kick and Discord.
