Comparison
The best Twitch chat bots
Our top pick is StreamNeeds: a Twitch bot with custom commands, timed messages and viewer points for chat, subs, bits and follows, in the same account as your alerts, your OBS overlays and bots for Kick, YouTube and Discord. A viewer keeps one points balance wherever they watch you. Below it, the other Twitch bots streamers use, with what each one lists and what it costs.

Other tools put an overlay on screen. StreamNeeds is built to grow the channel around it.
Keep viewers coming back
Points they earn on Kick and spend in Discord, a store, guess the balance, slot requests and raffles give viewers a reason to stay, chat and return tomorrow.
Turn a community into a Discord that runs itself
Announcements, verification gates, tickets and points keep your Discord busy between streams, with mods handling it from their own logins.
Win and keep sponsors
Campaign reports, a media kit and wager race leaderboards show a casino or agency exactly what they got — the evidence that gets a deal renewed.
Spend your time streaming, not managing tools
One dashboard instead of five tabs and two bots. Everything you set up once works everywhere, so the hours go into content.
Why StreamNeeds is our top pick
Most Twitch bots stop at chat. StreamNeeds puts the bot in the same account as your alerts and overlays, and it keeps one points balance per viewer across Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Discord. If you stream on more than one platform, or run a Discord, your viewers learn one set of commands and keep one balance.
- Commands, timed messages and points from one dashboard
- Points for subs, gifted subs, bits and follows
- One balance across Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Discord
- Bot replies you can edit, in 10 languages
What a good Twitch chat bot should do
At minimum: custom commands, timers that post on a schedule, spam filters and a way for mods to work without your password. Past that, decide what you need most. A moderation-first channel wants strong filters and logs; a community channel wants points, a store and giveaways; a multistreamer wants one bot that works on every platform.
Twitch has its own Channel Points too. A bot's points sit alongside them, and are worth it when you want rewards Twitch's own points can't give, such as a store or a balance shared with Discord.
How we checked
This list is written by the StreamNeeds team. Every other bot was checked against its own website or documentation in November 2026 (StreamElements in October 2026). Where a site does not describe a feature or a price, we say so rather than guess. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Twitch chat bot?
- StreamNeeds. It covers custom commands, timed messages and viewer points for chat, subs, bits and follows, and runs your Twitch alerts and overlays from the same account, with one points balance across Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Discord.
Is there a free Twitch bot?
- Yes. StreamNeeds has a free plan, and Fossabot says it is free. Nightbot, Moobot and others also have free use; check each one's site for its current limits.
What is a good Nightbot alternative?
- StreamNeeds, if you want points and alerts with your commands. Nightbot's docs cover commands, timers, song requests and spam filters but do not list loyalty points.
Can a Twitch bot share points with Kick or Discord?
- With StreamNeeds, yes. Points sit on one viewer profile, and a viewer links their accounts with a one-time merge code so their balances join up.
