How to combine your chats in OBS
Connect each platform
In Integrations, connect every channel you stream to: Kick, Twitch, YouTube and your Discord server.
Add the chat widget
Open the overlay editor and drag the Live Chat widget onto a scene. Pick its look, size and filters.
Copy the scene link
Copy the scene's browser-source link from the editor.
Add it to OBS
In OBS add a Browser source, paste the link and size it to your canvas. Chat from every platform now shows in one place.
Frequently asked questions
How do I show Kick and Twitch chat together in OBS?
- Connect both channels in StreamNeeds, add the Live Chat widget to an overlay scene and add that scene to OBS as a browser source. Both chats show in one list.
Does it show YouTube chat too?
- Yes. YouTube Live chat joins the same list, and so does chat from your Discord.
Can I hide bot messages and commands?
- Yes. Hide commands leaves out messages that start with !, Hide bot messages leaves out bot replies, and a blocked-words list keeps chosen words off screen.
