Frequently asked questions
What does StreamNeeds do?
- It runs the tools around your stream from one account: overlays and alerts in OBS, a chat bot on every platform, viewer points with a store, giveaways and raffles, stream games like wheels, bingo and predictions, a Discord bot with tickets, clips, sponsor reports and analytics. Slot streamers also get a bonus hunt tracker, and gaming streamers get in-game trackers.
Which platforms does StreamNeeds work with?
- Kick, Twitch and Discord today, with YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok coming as each platform approves us. Chat, points and alerts work across all of them at once, so a viewer who watches on Kick and chats in Discord is one person with one balance.
Can I use StreamNeeds for free?
- Yes. The free plan includes the overlay editor, alerts, the chat bots, viewer points, giveaways and the Discord bot. Paid plans add the bigger tools, and each one starts with a free trial. Every feature page says which plan it starts on.
Do I need to replace my other tools?
- No. You can start with one feature, like alerts or the chat bot, and add more when you want. Most streamers end up moving everything over because one account means one setup, one login for mods and one set of viewer data.
