What is a bonus hunt?
A bonus hunt is when a slot streamer plays through a set starting balance buying or collecting bonus rounds, saves each one without opening it, and then opens them all together in one session. The hunt breaks even when the total won matches the balance spent collecting them.

The two halves of a hunt
The collection phase comes first. The streamer starts with a fixed balance — say $2,000 — and plays across different slots, either buying bonus features directly or spinning until one triggers naturally. Each bonus found is noted down and left unopened.
The opening phase comes second, usually once the balance runs out or a target number of bonuses is reached. Every saved bonus is opened in turn, and the wins are added up. The interest is in whether the total clears what was spent.
Break-even, and why it moves
Break-even is the average multiplier every remaining bonus needs to hit for the hunt to get the starting balance back. If you spent $2,000 collecting 20 bonuses at $2 average stake, each bonus needs to average 50x.
That number changes as the hunt opens. A 500x early on drags the required average for everything left downwards; a run of 5x results pushes it back up. Both figures are worth showing: the starting break-even you announced, and the live one that moves.

The vocabulary
A super or star bonus is a rarer, more valuable feature on a slot that usually costs more to buy. A max win is the highest multiplier a slot can pay, capped by the studio. RTP is the long-run theoretical return of a slot. A 100x win is the conventional threshold at which a bonus is treated as a good result rather than a filler.
Why streamers track hunts publicly
A hunt is a several-hour arc with a number at the end, which is unusually good live content. Viewers who can see the running table — what has been opened, what is left, what it needs to average — stay for the result. That is the whole reason bonus hunt trackers exist rather than streamers just keeping a notepad.
